I read his article accidentally, maybe through Twitter? Just because I noticed your work. I thought it was one of the most compelling and thoughtful pieces I had seen in a while. I appreciated that he actually tried to grapple (at least a little) with the work on it’s own terms. I had a dude do a write up of “the Moth or the Flame” a few years back and rather than make any attempt to comprehend the possibility of symbolism at work he just panned it as willfully obscure, implying that I was writing an inside joke to myself. Ugghh…
