I was struck by the melody in the chorus so I looked it up and found it was Nick Drake&#8217;s mom Molly Drake who had an album released many years after her death. I listened to it and cried and I wasn&#8217;t sure why. <\/p>\n<p>Later tonight (now) I listened to it again and I thought about the end of humanity. I imagined a time when there would be no one left to remember this song or this feeling that Molly Drake had about a couple misunderstanding each other and the beautiful melancholy of memory.
