Everything will need to be on separate layers. So here&#8217;s a prototype idea for the geometry of the back of the cards. I&#8217;m going to try and reproduce this on paper in layers so it will lose some of that austere, photoshop quality.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4541\" src=\"http:\/\/jessemoynihan.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/tarot-back-proto.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"1240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/jessemoynihan.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/tarot-back-proto.jpg 620w, http:\/\/jessemoynihan.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/tarot-back-proto-150x300.jpg 150w, http:\/\/jessemoynihan.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/tarot-back-proto-512x1024.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m pulling largely from Robert Fludd, a bit from Aleister Crowley, and the general layout of the World card (see my notes).\u00a0 The card is split up in 8ths (4 on top, 4 below) as laid out by Jodorowsky in his book. This is the basic grid I used to design all of the cards so I think it&#8217;s appropriate to be completely explicit about it as an assist to readers. I also designed it to accommodate people who do reversal readings.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll try to tackle the final drawing next weekend.
