Justin and I pitched the Alone pilot storyboard to the Starburns crew and Dan Harmon this afternoon. It went about as well as I could have hoped. We got the go ahead to book voice actors for an animatic. So Justin and I are making a list of voice actors we wanna try to get for this thing. <\/p>\n
Dan’s an interesting guy. I’m weirdly mesmerized by him talking, which is why I guess so many people go to hear him on his podcast. After the pitch we shot the shit for 30 minutes or so about dealing with executive notes, which is I guess the glue topic that binds all artists working in the entertainment biz. I actually asked him if he had any notes and he didn’t want to give me any. Ideally his thing is trying to build a stable of shows without interfering with the creators. I didn’t take any pictures to document the meeting, just because it felt weird to do that. <\/p>\n
