\nAleph the young Lord of Mercy climbs down the treacherous bowels of the massive Temple of Love, precariously managing his elementary school talent show trophy (moving it between his hands and teeth and in his shirt). Beth, another Lord is attempting to climb after him. \u201cWhat are you doing in my Zone Aleph!? Don\u2019t die! Our brother just died! We can\u2019t replace you!\u201d \u201cI\u2019m not gonna die, Beth! I\u2019m going to LIVE, BABY!!\u201d Aleph drops further down into the misty atmosphere of the vast architecture. <\/p>\n
We pan through the bottom of the Temple, down to the insanity of the Pain Plane far below; capturing the chaos of deadly competitive culture: from amateur boughts to championship matches battling out mundane professions and pastimes such as dog walking, hair cutting, flower arranging, miniature golf, and endless other vocations. <\/p>\n
We see the competitors holding keepsakes that remind them of their trauma, addictions, and sorrows; their negativity (what they suffer from the most) powers their epic mastery of a skill. We pan through this madness, catching glimpses of the zombies\/monsters below the city and the dumb angel celebrities (freed of their negativity) floating just above. Everything is caught on camera and broadcast on live feeds.<\/p>\n

\nThe opening montage ends with a Pro Wrestling championship between Virgil and Moonlight Spider. Virgil is clutching a small two-faced bear trinket in his hand as he punches, Moonlight Spider repeatedly in the face. We flash between Moonlight Spider\u2019s pummeled face, Virgil\u2019s crying face as he punches, and the vision of a large two-faced bear creature turning its smiling face away from Virgil to reveal its frowning face as it walks out of the arena. <\/p>\n
Virgil climbs up to the top turnbuckle, tears in his eyes, shouting out the name of his finishing move to his audience \u201cASS TO MOUTH! ASS TO MOUTH\u201d, waving his arms about and putting his hand to his ear to get them to shout along with him. Everyone is like: \u201cno thanks.\u201d Artie, the wrestling promoter gives Virgil the thumbs down, \u201cthis bum Virgil\u2019s got no pull with the crowd no more. He\u2019s finished.\u201d<\/p>\n
In a daze Moonlight Spider flashes back to childhood as his mother force fed him from her spider-like ass sack; a horrifically over-nurturing mom assuring him that the trauma would give him the strength he needed in this cruel world. All the negativity wells up in Moonlight Spider and he is supercharged with power. Virgil flips off the top rope and Moonlight Spider throws a heroic superman punch right into Vigril\u2019s ass bone. <\/p>\n
Virgil folds over in pain, returning to the vision of the bear, who turns toward him again in the exit door of the arena, smiling with open arms. Virgil\u2019s tears of sadness well up into tears of joy. So overcome with happiness he loses the ability to fight back, hugging Moonlight Spider, deliriously crying \u201cI knew you wouldn\u2019t leave me Janus!\u201d Moonlight Spider pins Virgil and wins the match.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile in the Temple, Aleph drops into a pod and locks the door. Beth and a bunch of guards try to blast the door open. \u201cYou\u2019re going to destroy the world Aleph! Don\u2019t leave us!\u201d<\/p>\n
Virgil snaps out of his delirium, realizing that lost the match, standing dejected waiting for the official decision. The referee raises Moonlight Spider\u2019s arm \u201cMoonlight Spider, this year\u2019s Professional Wrestling Champion of the World! Mercy upon you!\u201d A beam of light bursts through the Heavens freezing Moonlight Spider in place. Everyone in the audience falls to their knees in reverence as all the negative energy in Moonlight Spider is pulled from his body and flies up into the sky. <\/p>\n
The beam of light hits Aleph and his gold trophy. \u201cAhhh!\u201d Aleph cries, \u201cNo shoes in my House!\u201d The trophy transforms into a black orb. Beth is like, \u201cNO DUDE!\u201d Aleph ejects himself from the bottom of the Temple and begins falling to the planet surface.<\/em><\/p>\n
I’m dangerously low with money right now and I haven’t paid my taxes yet. Pretty much Patreon is the only thing keeping me from completely busting the bank. I might need to take on some more freelance work but I’m hoping this thing with Starburns takes off so I don’t have to work on something that I might not be so psyched on. <\/p>\n

I’m gonna try to bust out more Forming pages at a quicker pace in the next few weeks. I got pretty inspired by a comics festival I went to while in England. I got to say hi to a bunch of great folks and felt that fresh feeling of people grinding on books! It really is the best thing you can do when it really comes down to it: sitting down and making a book without the prerequisite of getting permission or money to do so.
