9 years-ish ago, several years before getting into Tarot cards, I was having a life crisis about the great new person I was dating and being drawn back to the person I had been in love with for many years, who wanted me back. In an attempt to get some answers I took Ayahuasca and tripped balls for about 9 hours. In that time I had a vision that, years later I remembered as two barking dogs and the face of a woman in-between them. Luckily I documented the vision in my comic strip for the Philadelphia Weekly.<\/p>\n

The vision was actually two women and a dog barking in between them; the inverse of the Moon card which is two dogs barking at a feminine face on the moon.<\/p>\n

All this is to say that the Moon card, more than any other card is rippling with archetypal symbolism, and a personal proof of that Jungian super-consciousness\u00a0 running through the fabric of reality!<\/p>\n

When I first encountered the Moon, I really didn’t know how to approach understanding it, much in the way I couldn’t crack the meaning of my ayahuasca vision those years ago. What the fuck is this card all about? How do you put it into words?<\/p>\n

I became preoccupied with this card enough to even explore its crab and dark pool symbolism in an episode of Adventure Time.<\/p>\n
