Paul Huson sheds some interesting light on AE Waite&#8217;s self contradicting design elements: Dissing on Eliphas Levi&#8217;s misunderstanding of image as Baphomet (the object of Templar worship) and then to go ahead and straight up rip him off. human generated demon rather than THE devil: generated through dark concentration, which takes you into the bowels of your psyche: the realms dominated by addiction, fear, material ambition, chaos, lust, knotted reasoning etc&#8230; but without visiting this murky underworld, you have no reference point for the place of Temperance.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully you can read my handwriting, because I think
