Just got word last night that CN liked my Smuggle Brothers pitch, which means I think they want me to develop an expanded show bible and maybe a storyboard for a pilot. <\/p>\n

I think how it works is: if the storyboard pilot is completed, I’ll pitch it in a room with a bunch of people who then decide if the thing’ll get made into a one-shot pilot episode. <\/p>\n

If that goes well, there’s a possibility of it going to series or limited series or web series or whatever development has in their future plans.<\/p>\n

I’m not sure how much more of this I can share on here since I’ll be getting into that murky legal web of CN intellectual property etc… I haven’t signed anything yet, so essentially this thing is still mine at the moment. So I can still blog about it for time being. <\/p>\n

That said, please be respectful and don’t share any of this development stuff on dem message boards. I trust yous guys here in the Temple. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile on another front, Justin and I are working on a follow up to our Manly pilot with Frederator\/Cartoon Hangover. We got word that there was some interest coming from an outside investor to make another short. Justin and got to work on writing a premise for a new episode, which we’re still ironing out. I think the idea is already really good… BUT the latest word is that the potential investor is looking to aim at an 18-24 male demographic, which makes them doubtful about Manly. So I don’t know what’s going to happen. Justin and I are still working on it in the meantime, just in case a deal goes through.<\/p>\n
