Most other cards have the figures cramped in the frame, but I&#8217;m intentionally putting them deeper in the composition, which I am frightened might make for a slightly difficult read. <\/p>\n<p>Worse comes to worst, I&#8217;ll simply print the cards bigger. The only problem with that, is it makes it harder to shuffle. <\/p>\n<p>Looking at my rough mock-up of the Emperor card, it seems like it&#8217;ll read alright? <\/p>\n<p>In other news I ordered a Paul Foster Case book on the Tarot, as well as his BOTA Tarot deck, and the Knapp-Hall Tarot Deck for more cross referencing. <\/p>\n<p>The BOTA Tarot is black and white and is meant to be colored-in by the deck owner as a learning exercise. The Knapp-Hall deck was developed by John Knapp and Manly P Hall. I figured it would be good to have both decks since Manly P Hall figures deeply in my research, and Paul Foster Case keeps coming up in my readings as a respected authority on the Tarot-Qabalah connection. <\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it feels like I&#8217;ll never be ready to do this project, or that I&#8217;ll continually want to go back and revise what I&#8217;ve done, but I should remember that a big aspect of why I&#8217;m doing is to learn. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got a little paranoid about the size I might print these at and how the image will read after shrinking down so I did this little mock up.
