I barely knew Clint. I think I only met him about 4 or 5 times at the most. The news did have some heavy effect on me though. The day I heard of him coming back to life, I had this sort of personal crisis while getting out of the shower.

I remember stepping out of the shower, and while toweling off I had this major grapple with the question of whether or not I believed in the existence of my soul. As I looked inward it felt like I absolutely did have a soul, but it also felt easy to deny it and blow it off to an inflated ego/fear of death.

I was looking at the beads of water on my arm and somehow that was triggering this heightened sensitivity to my temporary human flesh existence. I tried to imagine completely losing my identity and memories, and connections with people.

I wonder what Clint experienced in his extended moment of temporary death.

Sorry this is such a half-ass post. Just wanted to get some of these rough memories down before I lost them.

Yesterday I was connecting this experience to my musings about the existence of Love, but now I forget how I was connecting it.

Recently my dad gave me a series of updates about my step-grandfather Clint, that went roughly like this: Your grandfather died today.
